How we work

Editorial policy

Lumi combines original fiction with carefully framed writing about sleep, stress, dreams and imagination. This is how we keep those different kinds of content clear, useful and trustworthy.

Who makes the content

Dreaming with Lumi is created and edited by Rob Knott. Articles carry an author and publication or review date so readers can see who is responsible for them. Editorial tools, including AI, may assist with research, structure or drafting, but Rob reviews the published work and remains accountable for it.

Experience, interpretation and evidence

Original stories and essays about imagination are creative or interpretive work. Articles that make factual claims about sleep or wellbeing are researched separately. We prefer primary research, systematic reviews and guidance from public-health or clinical bodies, and link to those sources beside the relevant claims.

Health and sleep information

Lumi is an entertainment and relaxation project, not a medical service. We do not present a bedtime story, soundscape or relaxation exercise as a treatment for insomnia, anxiety or any other condition. Where evidence is limited or mixed, we say so. Persistent sleep problems can have many causes and are best discussed with a qualified health professional.

Originality and reader value

Every article should answer a genuine reader question, add original perspective or practical value, and fit a clearly defined Lumi topic. We do not publish pages simply to repeat a keyword, pad the archive or imitate another publisher.

Corrections and updates

Material factual changes receive a new reviewed date. If you spot an error, email info@dreamingwithlumi.com. We will review it and correct the page where appropriate.
